We stayed in the Ramsay Room. It was gorgeous and the bed was SO comfortable. We didn't want to leave. |

We woke up to the most beautiful morning! Breakfast was served on this gorgeous wrap-around stone porch. |

Breakfast was ready and waiting for us. We were served berry mellon parfaits and then some delicious spinach quiche. |

The view was of the gorgeous rolling hills of NW Maryland and was spectacular! It was fun to sit and chat for a while as we took in the view and soaked up the green. |
While in the North West Corner of Maryland,
we decided to go and see some of the historic sights.
Harpers Ferry

While at Harpers Ferry, we hiked up to a look out point where Thomas Jefferson once stood and declared this area one of the most beautiful and picturesque vistas. It did not disappoint. |
Paw Paw Tunnel

We also went to check out Paw Paw tunnel, built in the 1830s as a part of the C&O canal. It had that abandoned feel that Sean loves. |

I really will miss this green! |
Lucketts![]() |
We decided to take some of the back roads through Virginia on our way home and we did not regret it. We were able to avoid traffic on the beltway and luckily happened to go through Leesburg. I had heard about Lucketts and how great the antiquing is and decided that it would be a fun pitstop. It was great window shopping. |

Lucketts had an anthropology, rustic chic feel to it. I loved that some of the display structures outside were built with the repurposed antique doors that they also sell. |

Here was the best find of the trip. |

Sean pulls it off much better than I do. |
